殘疾人士體育訓練資助

殘疾人士體育訓練資助由香港體育學院有限公司 ( 體院 ) 負責管理，為本港傑出的運動員直接提供經濟上的資助，主要協助對象為具有國際水準及發展潛質的運動員。

申請資格

獲得體育總會認可，在港居住滿三年並持有香港身份證的運動員即可申請。 申請人須證明其運動能力和潛質，以及可望在未來 12 至 18 個月內保持或超越個人成績。

評選準則

以運動員過去的成就、將來發展的潛質及教練和體育總會的推薦為評選標準。個人及隊際 / 團體成績均被考慮。

香港展能精英運動員基金

香港展能精英運動員基金由政府一般收入撥款作為成立經費，並由社會福利署管轄及一個管理委員會負責管理。基金為以下幾類計劃提供撥款，以便在殘疾運動員運動事業的各階段及退役後提供支援：

- 撥款予傷殘人士體育資助基金

2. 出賽階段
- 發展重點體育項目
- 殘疾運動員生活津貼

3. 退役階段
- 退役殘疾運動員就業促進資助金

Sports Aid Grant for Athletes with Disabilities (SAGD)

The Sports Aid Grant for Athletes with Disabilities (SAGD) is managed by the Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI). It provides direct financial support to Hong Kong athletes with demonstrated performance and potential to achieve or maintain success in the international sports arena.

 

Eligibility

Athletes of National Sports Associations (NSAs) who have resided in Hong Kong for at least three years and hold a Hong Kong Identity Card are eligible for application.

Applicants must have proven capability and achievement in sports competitions, and can maintain or improve their performance in the next 12 to 18 months.

 

Criteria

Both previous achievements and potential for future success of the athletes as well as recommendations from coaching supervisors and NSAs will be taken into considerations.

In sports where there are competitions for both individuals and teams/combinations, results in both will be considered for assessment.

Hong Kong Paralympians Fund

Sourcing from the government revenue, the Fund is managed by the Social Welfare Department and overseen by a Management Committee. The Fund disburses grants to the following categories of programmes with a view to providing support to athletes with disabilities during all stages of their sporting career and thereafter:

 

Funding Scope

1. Selection
- inject money to the grant for persons with disabilities

2. Competition
- development of target sports - subsistence grant to athletes with disabilities

3. Retirement
- employment facilitating grant for retired athletes with disabilities
