選舉自1993年起由香港教練培訓委員會主辦，是一年一度的體壇盛事，選舉結果會在優秀教練選舉頒獎禮上公佈，是本地唯一的頒獎禮以表揚教練為訓練運動員所付出的努力及貢獻。
選舉共設以下六個獎項:

Organized by the Hong Kong Coaching Committee since 1993, Hong Kong Coaching Awards is a mega sport event of the year. Recipients of the respective awards will be unveiled at the Coaching Awards Presentation Ceremony to recognize their services.
