本會運動員鄧韋樂及黃家汶榮膺首屆國際智障人士體育聯盟獎之最佳男、女運動員獎

首屆國際智障人士體育聯盟獎已於4月11日假英國謝菲爾德舉行的典禮上揭曉,本會運動員鄧韋樂及黃家汶分別獲頒發「最佳男、女運動員獎」! 
 
年輕游泳健兒韋樂於2012年首次參加殘疾人奧運會賽事中,在200米自由泳項目中一鳴驚人,刷新香港紀錄並奪得第六名,充分展示其游泳天賦。其後,他在「仁川2014亞洲殘疾人運動會」再次發揮其無限潛能,不但於100米背泳中取得一面銀牌,更在200米自由泳中以1:59.13打破亞洲紀錄及勇奪桂冠,締造驕人成績。韋樂過往曾於國際智障人士體育聯盟所舉辦的賽事中摘金,現時於世界及亞洲排名首三位。
 
乒乓球運動員家汶繼於「倫敦2012殘疾人奧運會」中奪得她於國際單打賽事的首面金牌後再下一城,於「仁川2014亞洲殘疾人運動會」勇奪個人首面亞殘運女單金牌,為其運動員生涯增添驕人成績。家汶於2013年榮獲香港特區政府頒發行政長官社區服務獎狀,以表揚她傑出的體育成績及貢獻。
 
 
 
The winners of the 1st INAS Awards were revealed at a ceremony on 11th April in Sheffield, UK, and athletes from Hong Kong took both athlete awards including TANG Wai Lok in the Best Male Athlete Award and WONG Ka Man in the Marie Little Best Female Athlete Category.
 
Wai Lok, a young and talented swimmer, first showed up in the 2012 Paralympic Games. He fully demonstrated his potential in swimming by finishing in the 6th place and broke the Hong Kong record. In addition, Wai Lok not only won a silver medal in 100M Backstroke, he also broke the Asian record of 200M Freestyle with 1:59.13 and gained the gold medal in “Incheon 2014 Asian Para Games”. Wai Lok has taken a number of gold medals in INAS competition and is ranked in the top 3 in both Asian and World competition.
 
Ka Man, table tennis player, won gold in the 2012 Paralympic Games after winning the Women’s Singles Class 11 and then gold again in the 2014 Asian Para-Games held in Incheon, Korea. Her excellence in table tennis and contribution in local sports development were recognized by the HKSAR Government by awarding her the Chief Executive’s Commendation for Community Service in 2013.
